Our Story
Johnny and Janelle, both hailing from the Bay Area, left home to pursue their dreams of becoming nurses in Utah. They met at Roseman University, where their shared love for fun and parties sparked an instant friendship. Throughout the program, they grew closer, often spending time together in Utah and even meeting up when they returned to the Bay Area to visit family.
Janelle’s friends and family loved teasing her about Johnny, jokingly calling him her boyfriend. But she was always quick to insist they were “just friends.” In Utah, they formed a close-knit “family” with their classmates Charity, Amber, and Roni, sharing unforgettable moments during their time away from home.
Toward the end of their program, everything changed. At a party with friends, Roni-Jo playfully dared them to kiss—and that moment sparked something new. Over time, feelings began to grow between them. It wasn’t until the day of their graduation, though, that they decided to take the leap and make their relationship official.
